Teton Tioga Fly Reels

Teton's Tioga is one of the greatest values in fly reels today, period.

Teton's Tioga reels are machined from a solid block of space age aluminum alloy using computer controlled machining methods. This not only keeps production costs low, but ensures precise build quality reel after reel.

Every Tioga (and all Teton reels for that matter) feature full cage construction, which ensures you that your reel will maintain its structural integrity even after a severe beating (like when you accidentally fall on it). Try doing that with alternative open-frame designs. Additionally, the Tioga's full cage has been designed to weigh no more than competitor's comparably sized open cage reels.

Tiogas employ Teton's patented closed disc drag system that uses Delrin discs, a superb material because of its rugged durability and ability to readily disperse heat. These qualities ensure your drag will perform flawlessly even through the longest run. A neoprene washer incorporated in the drag design provides a shock absorbing effect to lessen the impact of the sudden taking of line when a fish initiates its run. There is little to no maintenance required with this sealed drag system.

The Tioga is suitable for use in both fresh and saltwater.  In fact, Tiogas Model 8 and higher receive additional treating with a new, proprietary, A059 Teflon coating process, which will add 1000 more hours of saltwater protection over type-3 anodizing alone. In saltwater, it is always advisable to thoroughly rinse the reel in warm, fresh water after use to prevent the buildup of salt deposits.

Changing from right- to left-hand retrieve can be accomplished in seconds.

Tiogas are anodized with a durable Black finish of the new Alpine Green to resist corrosion and abrasion.

All Tiogas feature a Lifetime Warranty to the original owner.
