Aquaseal Urethane Repair Adhesive and SealantMcNett Urethane Repair Adhesives and Sealants

Repairs all types of wader fabrics and materials including breathable waders. Provides superior adhesion, wear resistance, flexibility and waterproofing.

McNett Aquaseal Wader Repair Adhesive and sealantRepairs can be stretched and folded yet still spring back to their original shape without any damage. Highly concentrated formula provides thick repairs and minimal adhesive shrinkage with only one permanent application.

Aquaseal is available by itself (1 oz. tube) or in combination with Cotol-240™ Cure Accelerator (1 oz each).

See instructions below on how to use Aquaseal.

Cotol-240™ Cleaner & Cure Accelerator

McNett Cotol-240 wader repair cleanerCotol-240 is a urethane cure accelerator and pre-cleaner to be used in conjunction with Aquaseal®. The solvent cleans and prepares the surface, speeding the tack time to 15 minutes and the full cure time to less than two hours.

Cotol-240 is also ideal for removing tar, sap, glue, and other resins from various surfaces including glass, plastic and metal. Available in ½ oz. bottle.

Clean damaged area with Cotol-240™ or solvent (paint thinner, nail polish remover or similar). Trim loose threads. Non-fabric surfaces should be roughened with sandpaper, then cleaned. Apply to surfaces directly from tube or with knife or flat stick. Keep repair level overnight. Avoid contact with other surfaces. Most repairs reach full strength overnight (8-10 hours). Allow longer for thickest repairs. Use Cotol-240 for fastest cure  (2 hours or less).

HOLES AND TEARS: Create backing with removable tape. Fill void and 1/4” beyond edge with Aquaseal. Remove tape after full cure.

SEAMS: Apply 1/16” thick bead overlapping seam edges by at least 1/4”. Apply with slight pressure to saturate fabric surfaces.

HIGH WEAR AREAS: Apply thin coat with knife for flexible abrasion resistance.

WARNING: FULLY CURED AQUASEAL IS SLIPPERY WHEN WET. For added traction on footwear, sprinkle sand on uncured Aquaseal 1/2 hour after applying.

CLEAN UP: To remove Aquaseal from hands, buff with cloth soaked in paint thinner, nail polish remover or 99% isopropyl alcohol.

STORAGE: Advance contents to tube neck. Wipe clean and cap. Keep in cool, dry place or for extended life, place in freezer. For thawing or for easier flowing contents, soak tube in warm water for 15 minutes.
